About Mrs. Williams
This is my 11th year at Georgie D. Tyler Middle School, formerly known as Windsor Middle School. The 2019 – 2020 school year will be my 12th year of teaching. I have experience teaching 7th & 8th grade math and Life Science. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Liberal Studies, with a concentration in Mathematics and Science, from Longwood University in 2007. More recently, I earned my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Regent University in 2013.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing with my dogs, Dusty and Max. Often times, my family enjoys weekend trips to the beach or mountains and riding bikes in Williamsburg.
Being a teacher is a career that makes a long-lasting impact on future generations by molding individuals to become independent thinkers of society. As a passionate teacher, I will continue to be my students’ biggest cheerleader by delivering an education that pushes them past the basics, while providing a support system along the way.
